Tuesday 18th Feb, 2pm-4pm

A mixed-media art session for creative kids and their family members. Adults and children must have a ticket as this session is designed for all generations to create together.  Tickets are £4 per person.

This session is a more a grown-up, less chaotic version of our Scrap Play Session. It will be seated and additional resources will be available. It is best suited for the more focused/ quietly creative / older children, and their adult family members who would like to craft with them. It is a great opportunity for creative families who enjoy crafting independently but in the company of each other.

There is no age restriction for this, but we want to maintain a calm atmosphere focused on creating - so this won't be the session for running around like some of our other events. If you have a 3 year old who will happily sit and make things (i.e. won't get bored and sad), then they're welcome. If you are a grandparent who hasn't picked up a pencil since the 70s, then come and get playful with art! Art For Families is for anyone who would love a couple of hours of arts and crafts and quality time with their loved ones.

Resources on offer will be: magazines and books for collaging, paper, card, glue, scissors, pens, pencils, water colour paints, scrap materials, beads, pipe cleaners and stickers. Everyone is invited to make whatever they feel inspired to - many children enjoy making 3D structures or mixed-media collages. It's completely open, and adults are invited to create freely too.

It is recommended you bring a bag to take your creations home with you.

Please note this is not a drop-off event. See FAQs below.

The Lugger will be serving hot drinks from 10.30am and food from 12pm-2pm and 4pm-8pm.
